Recently, we had the opportunity to sit down with some of the women artisans who work with Casa Amarosa. These artisans, shared their thoughts on what it means to be an artisan, the challenges they face, and how working with Casa Amarosa has impacted their lives.

I'm from Panipat

2) What inspired you to become an artisan?⁠

My mom and grandmother inspired me to become an artisan as they also used to make such home decorative items.

I've been working for casa amarosa for the last three years.

I really like working for casa amarosa because I can use my skills and get the true cost of my work all while working within a healthy work environment.

That the artisans are masters of their craft and its traditional methods

How does your work empower you as a woman?⁠

Earlier women artisan worked in unorganised sectors so they couldn't get the real cost of their work but now because of an organised sector, they get good and timely payment, hence are more independent and empowered; they take the opportunity and are establishing themselves as an equal by taking care of all responsibilities on thier own.

Yes , brands can uplift women artisans by promoting the value and true identity of their skills in the market.
