The event showcased the incredible talent of Indian artisans and their traditional craftsmanship, which is the backbone of the design industry in India.

One of the things I found particularly interesting about the exhibition was how it showcased the different types of embroidery techniques used by artisans from different parts of India. For example, the kantha embroidery used in the Spring/Summer 2018 haute couture dress was from the state of Tamil Nadu, while the mirror work embroidery used in the Fall/Winter 2015 haute couture coat was from the Kutch region of Gujarat. These techniques are unique to each region and reflect the diversity and richness of India's culture.
Moreover, the exhibition not only provided an opportunity to showcase traditional techniques, but it also highlighted the importance of preserving them for future generations.
